Man robbed of mobile phone

A 21-year-old was robbed of his mobile phone whilst walking down Milnrow Road, Milnrow.
The man and his friend were approached by another man demanding to know what was in his pockets at around 6.15pm on New Year’s Eve.
The offender then punched the victim in the ribs and fled with a mobile phone worth around £70.
The robber is described as a muscular black man in his mid 20s, 5ft8 to 5ft9 with short, dark, curly hair.
He was wearing a black leather bomber style jacket with pockets on the chest and dark jeans.
