Two freed from car after collision

Two people were freed from a car after a road traffic collision outside a restaurant in Littleborough.
At around 11.15pm on Thursday (22 December), fire-fighters were called to the Thamin Indian Restaurant, New Road, Littleborough, following reports of a collision involving two cars.
Crews from Littleborough Fire Station attended and discovered a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl trapped inside the vehicle.
Both casualties were freed from the vehicle using a spine board and treated at the scene by the fire service and paramedics.
The casualties were taken to hospital with back and neck injuries and were discharged later after treatment.
