Shoppers in Rochdale have been given a welcome boost to their Christmas funds as part of the Rochdale Exchange’s Christmas Give Away.

The shopping centre has given away £1,000 of vouchers – ranging from £1 to £20 – to scores of lucky winners.

The vouchers were placed inside Christmas crackers and customers visiting the centre on Saturday (10 December) were given the opportunity to pull a cracker after guessing what they thought a wrapped gift was.

Lorenzo O'Reilly, Rochdale Exchange Centre Manager said: “We all know times are hard at the moment and we wanted to give something back to our customers to help with their Christmas shopping, we had a great response and we are so glad we were able to put smiles on so many faces at this time of year.”
