Healey Primary School
School breaks up for the Christmas Holiday on Wednesday 21 December, and we celebrate this with a Carol Service performed by Year 5 and 6 at 2:30pm – everyone is welcome, but space will be tight! Please join with us to celebrate this special time of year.
Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday:
Reception: Liam Ellis
Year 1: Hayden Abraham
Year 2: Saachi Prabhu
Year 3: Alisha Iqbal
Year 4: Christopher Pickup
Year 5: Sam Walker
Year 6: Josh Hardman
Attendance was VERY good last week – overall school was 97.5%, with three (yes three) classes managing the magical 100%. Well done to Reception, Year 2 and Year 6.
On Monday Year 3 and 4 will have their Christmas Party, please bring party clothes in a NAMED plastic carrier bag, Reception Year 1 and 2 will have their party on Tuesday afternoon. All parents should have received a note or text about contributions for the parties. Please can you remind your child to bring home all their belongings at the end of term - any clothing left behind in cloakrooms is recycled and sent to charity. It might be a good idea to send a few carrier bags on Monday so children can collect their belonging together.
School reopens on Monday 9th January and dinner money for the half term until 10th February is £45.
The staff and pupils of Healey would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy and Peaceful New Year. Joyeux Noel.
