Congratulations to our pupils who took part in the Christmas Cracker concert at Gracie Fields Theatre on Sunday.

Thank you to our families who supported St Patrick’s Christmas Fair on Saturday.

Everyone really enjoyed the production of Alice in Wonderland in school this week performed by the Telling Tales company.

Year 5 also enjoyed the production of West Side Story at St Cuthbert’s High School. They shared the experience with pupils from other Year 5 classes from primary schools around the borough.

Alice Ingham singers entertained residents at Yew Court and Braeside Nursing Home on Wednesday with Christmas songs. Everyone enjoyed their visit.

The whole school enjoyed the excellent performance of Zumba dancing on Thursday to mark the end of the term’s lessons. Several children who had improved their skills demonstrated with great enthusiasm.

Thank you to all parents and carers who came into school on Thursday to speak to their child’s teacher about progress this term. This has such a positive impact on your child’s attitude to school and learning. If you were not able to make it please try to make an appointment to see the teacher as soon as possible.

The week ended with another great Golden Book assembly when children spotted working hard, achieving well, trying their best, showing a good attitude etc were recognised by the whole school.

All classes are practising for the Christmas productions….please put the date in your diary….Wed 14 Dec at 2.00pm…..all parents and carers are very welcome!
