Large-scale training exercise at Hollingworth Lake

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service will be carrying out a large-scale training exercise at Hollingworth Lake tonight (Tuesday 6 December).
Fire-fighters will be undertaking a ‘mud rescue’ for several hours and will be working alongside other emergency services.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area in order to remain safe.
Further exercises at Hollingworth Lake are scheduled for 16, 19 and 21 December.
