Man and child rescued following collision

A child was carried to safety and a man cut free from a car following a collision in Middleton.
Fire-fighters from were called to Langley Lane, Langley, at around 3.45pm on Monday (5 December) after reports of a car in a ditch.
The vehicle had gone through a fence and the driver was trapped.
Two crews were at the scene for over an hour. They cut the driver free and he was taken to hospital with suspected spinal injuries. A child passenger was carried to safety.
