A concert held at the Gracie Fields Theatre featuring the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band has raised thousands of pounds for Help for Heroes.
The show, organised by Sandifords, attracted hundreds of people and is estimated to have raised between £7,500 and £8,000. The exact amount is yet to be confirmed as money is still being received.
Ian Sandiford, said he was “really pleased” with the evening. And on behalf of himself and wife Janet, he would like to thank everybody who made the occasion a success.
Mr Sandiford has also revealed that he will be organising another fundraising show next year. The event, again featuring the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band, will take place at the stunning Gorton Monastery on 16 September 2011 in aid of Christies.
