Body of 26-year-old man found at beauty spot

The body of a 26-year-old man has been found in the River Spodden at Healey Dell in Rochdale.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was found in the water below the viaduct near to Dell Road at around 10.00am on Wednesday (30 November).
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, said: “Shortly after 10.00am on Wednesday 30 November 2011, police were called to a viaduct near to Dell Road, Rochdale, following reports of a body in the water below.
“Police and other emergency services attended and recovered the body of a 26–year-old man.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
