Some bin collections will be delayed this week due to the national strike.
Planned industrial action set to take place on Wednesday November 30 has meant that refuse and recycling usually collected in Heywood, Bamford and parts of Norden and Castleton on Wednesday, will be collected on Saturday 3 December instead.
Councillor Martin Burke, Cabinet Member for Environmental Services, said: “We will complete all missed collections on Saturday 3 December. Please make sure your bin is out for collection on Saturday before 7am. We apologise for any disruption people may experience.”
Thursday and Friday collections will take place as normal.
