Hollingworth Business and Enterprise College

At Hollingworth last week we held fundraising activities in support of Children in Need. On Wednesday pupils in Year 7 had the opportunity to throw wet sponges at Mrs J Brown HOY 7 and Mrs C Edmends assistant HOY. Pupils in other year groups donated monies to watch several teachers have their legs waxed during assemblies and on Friday pupils & staff held a non-uniform day. We managed to raise an amazing £1,700.00. Well done.

Urgent - The next instalment for Sorrento is now overdue. Please see Mr Bell or Mrs Bowyer a.s.a.p. if there is a problem in making this payment.

“Chef of the Month” competition is now back up and running. The Christmas Chef of the month will receive a special prize - Watch out for details - Food teachers will be looking to choose the best chef for November from the Soup and Chilli practicals.
