Can Nutter create Britain’s best dish?

Date published: 22 November 2011

Rochdale chef Andrew Nutter will be put through his paces in front of some of the country’s fiercest food critics on Best Dish:The Chefs this week.

Andrew’s dish, The Chocolate Sweet Box, will come under scrutiny on the show when it is aired this Thursday (24 November).

The dish is based on childhood memories and includes delights such as nutty brittle, honeycomb chocolate indulgence, toffee mallow and chewy flapjack.

Some of the show has already been filmed at Andrew’s award winning restaurant Nutters and also on location near Greenbooth Reservoir in Rochdale.

The main bulk of the programme is due to be filmed at the main BBC Studios in London.

The competition will be whittled down as the chefs do their best to impress judges Ed Baines, John Burton Race and Jilly Goolden.
