Moped rider taken to hospital following collision

A moped rider has been taken to hospital with head injuries following a collision in Spotland.
The incident, which involved a moped and a Ford Focus, happened shortly before 8.45am on Tuesday morning at the junction of Edenfield Road and Spotland Road.
The rider of the moped has been taken to hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
There were no other reported injuries.
The stretch of the road was closed but re-opened to traffic shortly before 10.30am.
