“It was not an easy decision”, said Chairman Robert Clegg, “Over twenty nominations were received.”
After a long debate the Committee has decided on their man.
To be nominated, the man must have given freely of his time to improve the lives of others, and must live or work in Rochdale.
The winner is a tightly kept secret and all will be revealed at the annual Men of Rochdale Luncheon, sponsored by Jackson & Jackson, on Friday 25 November at Rochdale Town Hall.
The luncheon starts with a beer reception at 1.00pm.
All proceeds go to Springhill Hospice.
Tickets are available from the Fundraising Office at Springhill Hospice, Rochdale, 01706 649920 priced at £36.00 each including a 4 course meal.
