Healey Primary School
The school photographs have gone ahead without a hitch and should be ready well before Christmas, thank you to all the parents who waited patiently with toddlers – it is always a tearful time for some.
On Monday we have the wonderful whole school pantomime “Sleeping Beauty” – a lovely start to the Christmas period.
Rehearsals for Bugsy Malone, a shared activity between Year 4 and Oulder Hill (a partner secondary school) are going very well. It is an honour to be chosen to work alongside these talented people and to perform “A Night at the Musicals”, on a large stage in a proper theatre, for Year 4 children this will be a memorable experience. It should be a fantastic production and we hope it will be well supported by friends and family. The show at the Gracie Fields Theatre runs from 29 November to the 3 December.
Well done to the following pupils who received the award last week:
Reception: Katie Cookson
Year 1: Cameron Hitch
Year 2: Liam Ellis
Year 3: Daryl Rosales
Year 4: Paul Tighe
Year 5: Aaron Limmer
Year 6: Jeska Kelly
The best attendance of a class for the week was Year 5 with 99 per cent. Well done to them too.
We have managed to sell almost 200 Children in Need wristbands, thank you for your response; we have already broken our fundraising target for this term, Healey benefits from enormously supportive children and parents.
