Church fair raises vital funds
Date published: 15 November 2011
The Autumn Fair held at St Andrew's, the parish church of Dearnley and Smithy Bridge, has raised a staggering £1,500.
The fair, which was held on Saturday, was opened by Councillor Ashley Dearnley and the children from St Andrew’s Primary School choir got the event off to a musical start.
The money raised from the fair – which is a record amount for the annual event – will go towards general church funds.
