Man cut free from car

A man was cut free from his car by fire-fighters earlier today following a road traffic collision involving one other vehicle.
Fire-fighters from Heywood were called to Coronation Avenue in Hopwood at 12.43pm.
The man was rescued from the car using a spinal board and was taken to hospital.
