Spotlight on language and grammar:

Could parents and carers spare ten minutes or more per night to support the work that the children are doing in school.
STATEMENTS TO LIVE BY:
Over the next few weeks the children will be working together to understand their uniqueness as made in the image of God and develop self awareness, positive self-esteem and confidence.
Please take the opportunity to discuss with your child at home and support them in this week’s aim of taking care to keep safe and healthy.
I think before I make choices that affect my health
PARENT / TEACHER MEETINGS FOR AUTUMN 2011
This term’s parent- teacher meetings for Class 5 will take place on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th November
1pm to 4pm.
Being as our new hall is not ready just yet, the meetings will take place in school in ground floor meeting rooms.
Appointments will be no longer than 10 minutes each. You will be reminded nearer the time to make an appointment if you have not already done so.
OTHER BUSINESS
The new school hall is on target for completion and we should be ready to start using the hall in January. Thank you to all the students for your patience during the disruption.
The Nursery Eid party on Wednesday was a success and enjoyed by all. Thank you to those who brought in the delicious food.
Finally, please don’t forget to ring the school office before 9.15am if your child is not attending school and please continue to pay dinner money on a weekly basis.
