This room will be the ‘Community Room’ and will be used to accommodate the many reviews and meetings which take place with members of external agencies and will also be used for Parents Partnership meetings.
Holiday Club - Many thanks for the support of parents and carers and the staff for providing a fabulous variety of activities during the half term break. A total of 101 young people were able to access the programme. As ever we were over subscribed for the number of places available and this is something we will be reviewing for the next break in February 2012.

Key Stage 4 news - Now for the run up to.... yes Christmas! We’ve kept ourselves very busy, including our new Independent travellers. Well done to the following pupils who are now able to travel independently to and from School: Sam E, Tonya, Joe T, Matthew C, Fatima, Martyn and Hannah. SEB have been getting physical on the trampoline, and all the pupils seemed to love every minute, even the staff got stuck in and had fun.
At MANTRA, the motor mechanics group has been looking at the engine of a very large lorry. They then decided after all their hard work they deserved a rest. So they climbed into the cab and had a well deserved sit down. 4R have been using their ‘green fingers’. They have made a start on planting some bulbs and getting started on their garden project. Shortly they will have new equipment and resources to use from the vouchers collected by everybody from Morrison’s, so thank you again if you contributed. 4A have been out and about on the bus, they took a trip to Morrison’s, and then they took a ride around Bury to admire the lovely countryside.
Rotary Shoe boxes—this year we will again be collecting for the shoe box appeal. To enable the class staff to fill the box please send any of the following items: Matchbox type cars, small bouncy balls, yo yos, dolls, colouring books, crayons, felt tips, pencils, notebooks, jigsaws, lego, make up, toiletries, hats, gloves, scarves, washing powder, hand soap, shampoo, tooth brush, tooth paste, writing paper, envelopes, pens. £1 per box donation is requested, this is to help with the transport costs. Thank you for your support.

Ryan, Louis, Brett and Declan have been working really hard planning a visit to Hollingworth Lake as part of their Travel and Tourism Vocational Education session.
