Gold award for Hospice gardens

Springhill Hospice gardens have been recognised with a Gold award from the North West in Bloom competition.
The hospice’s head gardener Nick Dent, attended the awards event with volunteers Peter Gugas, Christine Winn and Ray Miller to collect the award on behalf of the Hospice.
Mr Dent, said: “It was great to receive a Gold Award again but I get rewarded every day seeing patients and visitors enjoying the gardens.”
He added: “My trusty volunteers contribute greatly to the upkeep of the gardens and I really appreciate all their help.”
