Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre
The first in a series of monthly ‘Cultural Craft Bazaars’ will take place on Sunday (6 November).
The markets, which will take place at the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre, have been launched in conjunction with the Community Voluntary Sector to provide an outlet for local crafts people and provide a much needed boost for market trading.
Lorenzo O’Reilly Rochdale Exchange Centre Manager said: “We want to give local people an opportunity to sell hand made crafts and produce to a large audience.
“There is nothing like this around at the moment and we feel it is the perfect time to launch the Cultural Crafts Bazaar.
“We wanted to offer both the stall holders and the customers something that isn’t already available and the Cultural Crafts Bazaar does just that.
“We are all really excited here for the launch as there will be lots of free fun activities planned and plenty of interesting stalls. It’s what Sundays have been missing here in Rochdale.”
The launch day will see lots of free fun activities to take part in. Already confirmed for are stilt walkers, chocolate gift makers and massage therapists.
The markets will take place between 11.30am to 3.30pm this Sunday. They will then be held on the first Sunday of every month.
