A zumbathon held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support has raised over £500 for the charity.
The two hour event, held at Oulder Hill Leisure Centre on Sunday (30 October) was attended by around 30 women keen to raise cash for the cause.
The fundraiser was organised by Laura Nugent of Nudge Zumba who had set a target of £200-£300.
She said: “So far we have raised over £500, I wanted a couple of hundred so I’m really surprised, money is still coming in and people can still donate online.”
“The day went really well, everyone seemed to have a good time,” she added, “I enjoyed it and I hope everyone else did.”
