The competition for students to design an Olympics Comic strip is now open and entry forms and details can be obtained on our school website at www.falingepark.com. The competition is open to all years and there are great prizes for the winners of collectable Olympic figures.

Rehearsals for our school pantomime are now well underway. Copies of the rehearsal timetable have been issued to all students involved and we ask that parents check finishing times to ensure that children make their way home safely at the end of each session.

This week sees the issue of our 'Boys Who Achieve In The Arts' Celebration Booklet. Well done to all the boys who made it into the final booklet; we are very proud of your success. Copies of the booklet will be issued to every Community group and to all the eleven boys interviewed for the booklet.

If learners involved into our pantomime would like to be included in the well-wishers message system for the programme, then they should complete the letter issued in reharsals and return it to Mr De Courcey as soon as possible and no later than Friday 9th December.

Letters for our trip to 'Oliver!' in February will be available in the next week. Places are limited and issued on a first come, first served basis. Please see Mr De Courcey or Ms Williams if you would like a copy of the letter.

Our next edition of the Arts College Newsletter, 'Create!', is issued to learners this week. Copies are available to download from our school website.

Arts Award Club begins this Friday for all Year 11 learners who started the qualification previously and for new and interested learners. Please see Mr De Courcey or Ms Gott for more details. The club takes place in F5 from 2.45pm until 4.00pm.

We close Drama Club this half term as intensive pantomime rehearsals begin. Drama Club will start again in January for all those learners who came along regularly. See you again soon or in our show.
