Metal theft clampdown results for Rochdale

Two men from Rochdale were cautioned for theft offences on Friday (28 October) as part of a national day of action to tackle metal theft.
The day of action took place across the whole of Greater Manchester Police. Other divisional results for Rochdale include five vehicle stop and searches and three vehicles seized for not having a valid licence or insurance.
Across GMP’s entire force raids were carried out on 27 scrap yards and 11 arrests were made.
