Man charged following fire at house in Heywood

A man has been charged after a house was deliberately set on fire in Heywood on Saturday.
Carl Reeves, 24, of Gaskill Street, Heywood, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates Court on Monday (24 October).
At 2.20am on Saturday (22 October), emergency services were called to a house on Olive Street in Heywood following reports of a fire.
The four people who were inside the house - a 24-year-old man, a woman, four-year-old child and a baby - were taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation. They have all since been discharged.
