What is happening in the class room?

Spotlight on language and grammar:
This week our focus is on PALINDROMES. Palindromes read the same backwards as forward e.g. Madam, I’m Adam / go hang a salami, I’m a lasagna hog.
There are also word palindromes such as: blessed are they that believe that they are blessed.

Could parents and carers spare ten minutes or more per night to support the work that the children are doing in school.

Statements to live by:

Over the next few weeks the children will be working together to understand their uniqueness as made in the image of God and develop self awareness, positive self-esteem and confidence.

Please take the opportunity to discuss with your child at home and support them as they learn about appreciating and understanding the importance of social justice, developing independence, interdependence and responsibility’.

Try to be just and fair.
