The Enterprise word of the week is, “Decision Making” and the Year 7 pupils will also be concentrating on the Enterprise skill of “Communication.”

Some of our Year 8 pupils went to Lindisfarne last week to discover the world of St Cuthbert they also visited Durham Cathedral where St Cuthbert is buried. A splendid time was had by all and our pupils did themselves and the college proud,

There is a Lourdes fundraiser on Friday 14 October it is a Quiz night costing £8 ahead including supper, tickets can be purchased from college at 01706647761.

Year 7 News

The attendance challenge this week was won by 7.6 with a weekly attendance of 100%. Well done to them.

This week’s competition winner for “You have to be in to win” is Conor Jackson form 7.5

Mr Sidlow and form 7.3 launched year 7's chosen Christmas charity which will be the Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal. Please do your best to support this charity.

Well done to the Year 7 Cross country running team.

Year 7 girls team were Rochdale Borough schools winners and the Year 7 boy’s team were Rochdale Borough schools runners up

Well done to Katie Halligan form 7.9 who achieved 1st place and Philippa Ullah form 7.1 who achieved 2nd Place overall, out of the Rochdale Borough Year 7 teams.

Finally for this week congratulations to the year 7 boys Football team who beat Matthew Moss and also the girls Year 7 Netball team who beat Cardinal Langley. We are very proud of you all.
