Fuel spillage causes rush hour delays

Congestion backing up to Junction 20 at Rochdale
Motorists suffered severe delays this morning because of a fuel spillage on the M60. Congestion backed on to the M62 past Rochdale and towards Rishworth Moor.
The incident caused one lane to close on the M60 anticlockwise from Junction 13 to Junction 12 leading to 13 miles of queuing traffic.
By 11.00am the congestion had cleared.
