David Edwards, Acting Chairman, presents Alison Hand with her Going for Gold Stars award
A member of NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale’s Performance Team has won the Trust’s most recent Going for Gold Stars awards.
Alison Hand, Project Support Officer, won the award for her work on the Staff Resilience Programme, which was designed to support staff during the uncertain times the NHS is facing. The aim of the programme was to enable staff to identify their strengths and future goals and the steps they may wish to take to further these.
Ms Hand, said: “I am delighted to receive the September Going for Gold Stars Award in recognition of the work I have been involved in with the Staff Resilience Programme.
“I have been lucky to work with a great group of people, to help lay the foundations of taking this programme forward and I would like to say a special thank you to Sandra for nominating me.”
Sandra Croasdale, Head of Performance who made the nomination, said: “I am particularly proud of Alison for her work on this programme and really believe that she deserves recognition. Without her hard work the programme would never have been so successful.”
Going for Gold Stars is a quarterly awards scheme that has been developed by NHS HMR to recognise staff who provide an outstanding service or go the extra mile. The awards are nominated and judged by staff working within the Trust.
