The Enterprise word of the week is, “Risk” and the Year 7 pupils will also be concentrating on the Enterprise skill of “Communication.”
Year 7 pupils are settling in very well, a high percentage of pupils are taking part in extra curricular activities and for the first time have been able to audition for the school musical.
If your child is staying behind for after school clubs please ensure they are confident with arrangements for travelling home. Encourage your child to come back into school to seek help from a member of staff if they are at all worried.

You must be in school everyday and on time to be included in this weekly draw, the winner receives a voucher to spend in W H Smith.

Lockers are available for all year 7 pupils a deposit of £5 is needed, please see Mrs Rushton for a letter.
The popular, published poet Mike Garry was in College again this week working with local primary schools in the Partnership Learning Resource Centre. Lots of learning and fun took place. The pupils all produced their own poems, which they bravely performed to teachers and Year 7 pupils. The primary pupil’s poems were outstanding, and will be put together to produce a booklet for all the pupils to keep.
