Halifax Road was closed earlier today following a bus fire.
Fire-fighters from Rochdale and Littleborough were called to Halifax Road at the junction with Birch Road shortly before 8.00am.
The fire caused 50 per cent damage to a single decker bus. It is believed the fire was caused by a fuel leak.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service couldn’t confirm whether there were any passengers on board but said there was no danger to life.
