St Edward's CE Primary School

Date published: 08 September 2011

Welcome back to all our pupils. We hope you all had a good holiday and are fully rested and ready for our new school year.

Welcome also to our new Reception children who have started today on a part-time basis and will all be fulltime from next Thursday, 15 September.

Most of our children are in full school uniform and look very smart especially in the yellow polo shirts so thank you to all the parents.

A reminder that black school shoes must be worn – if children come in boots or trainers, they must change into their school shoes.

Can we also please remind parents that children are not allowed to wear make-up or any jewellery – this is a health & safety issue.

PE kits can be left in school for half a term and then taken home to wash.

Contact Forms
It is really important that all new contact forms are returned to school as soon as possible. We need these forms so we can contact parents in case of an emergency.

Text Messaging Service
We are continuing to use our text messaging service and in some cases, instead of sending letters out. Therefore it is extremely important that you ensure you keep school up-to-date with any change in mobile phone numbers.

Can anyone help?
Mrs. McGovern is starting to put the story sacks together – if any parents could help she would really appreciate it. Thank you.
