Welcome back to all students and staff and especially to our new Year 7 students who are doing a magnificent job of finding their way around school.

The Music Department are holding taster sessions in the music rooms for pupils who would like to try out an instrument that they have not used before. If they decide they like the instrument, they will get the opportunity to take up lessons. The sessions are open to all pupils but especially to those pupils in Year 7. There will be the opportunity to have a go on the keyboards, woodwind, string, percussion and more. The sessions started last week and will continue on Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 September. So please come along and have a try!

Mr. DeCourcey has organised a visit to Lancaster Maritime Museum and to the Lancaster City Museum to see an exhibition by the National Scottish Centre for Puppetry and Masks. The visit will be on Saturday 17 September from 9.00am until 5.00pm. Letters are available from the CEPA office.

Drama Club will be starting on Wednesday 14 September in the Drama Studio (G12). It will start at 2.45pm until 3.45pm. Come along and enjoy a dramatic hour of fun.

Our Open Evening for Year 6 parents is Monday 3 October 2011 from 6.45pm.
