Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008) (Amendment) (No. 28) Order 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 1(3), 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, have made an Order, the effect of which is to amend the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008 by inserting the following:-

3.32 Waiting Limited, 2 Hours, No Return Within 1 Hour;
3.33 Waiting Limited Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, 2 Hours, No Return Within 1 Hour;
7.11 Loading Only Bay (Any Class of Vehicle).
Articles
7(j) Any class of vehicle to be loaded/unloaded at any time in any of the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 7.11.
Schedule No. 1.1
No Waiting At Any Time
Albion Street, Castleton Ward
(ni) The north side from its junction with Leander Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction;
(nii) The north side from its junction with Leander Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction.
Edinburgh Way (south westerly carriageway), Balderstone & Kirkholt Ward
(ni) The westerly side from its junction with Queensway for a distance of 11 metres in a north westerly direction.
Falinge Road, Spotland & Falinge Ward
(ni) The south westerly side from a point 166 metres north west of its junction with Clarke’s Lane to a point opposite the southerly kerb line of Bentmeadows;
(nii) The north easterly side from a point 71 metres south east of its junction with Bentmeadows for a distance of 18 metres in a south easterly direction.
Gorrels Way, Balderstone & Kirkholt Ward
(ni) The south west side from its junction with Queensway to a point 315 metres north west of its junction with Queensway;
(nii) The north side from its junction with Queensway to a point 298 metres north west of its junction with Queensway.
Leander Drive, Castleton Ward
(ni) Both sides from its junction with Albion Street for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction.
Oldham Road, Kingsway Ward
(ni) The easterly side from its junction with Ainsworth Street for a distance of 3 metres in a south easterly direction;
(nii) The easterly side from its junction with Dodgson Street for a distance of 38 metres in a north westerly direction.
Queensway (north westerly carriageway), Balderstone & Kirkholt Ward
(ni) The west side from its junction with Gorrels Way to its junction with Edinburgh Way.
Wellfield Street, Balderstone & Kirkholt Ward
(ni) Both sides from its junction with Well i’ th’ Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

(ni) North side from its junction with Wellfield Street for a distance of 15 metres in a north westerly direction:
(nii) North side from its junction with Wellfield Street for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.
Whitworth Road, Healey Ward
(ni) The north easterly side from a point 35 metres south east of its junction with Crowshaw Drive for a distance of 71 metres in a south easterly direction;
(nii) The south westerly side from a point 5 metres north west of its junction with Lower Healey Lane to a point 6 metres south east of its junction with Lower Healey Lane.

A copy of the Order, together with the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the Service Director’s Office, Town Hall, Rochdale and Customer Services Centre, Floor 2, Municipal Offices, Smith Street, Rochdale, during normal office hours.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 7 September 2011, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
The Order will come into effect on 1 October 2011.
