Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity is holding its annual PJ Day on Wednesday 26 October and is calling out to nurseries across the borough to join in.
PJ Day is open to nurseries, crèches and playgroups across the region and asks that for every child that wears their pyjamas to nursery a suggested donation of £1 is made by the child’s family and friends. Those that enter before 7th October 2011 will be entered into a prize draw to win a visit from Humphrey, the charity mascot on 26th October.
The winning nursery will also receive a Pyjama Drama session plus a bumper pack of goodies courtesy of Ryman including adorable Pyjama Bears.
Maurice Watkins, Charity Chairman said, “PJ day is a great way to engage with nurseries and playgroups across the region. Although only a small donation of £1 is required from each child to take part, it all adds up to make a real difference to the lives of our patients.”
All nurseries, playgroups and crèches that register, regardless of date, will receive a free PJ day pack which includes stickers, balloons and top tips to make the day a great success.
