Rochdale man charged after driving at police car

A man from Rochdale has been charged after driving at a police car in Haslingden.

Lee Littlehales, 35, of Albert Royds Street, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving whilst disqualified, failing to stop when required by a constable, using a motor vehicle without third party insurance and section 47 assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident on Manchester Road, Haslingden, on Wednesday (24 August) where a police car was driven at at high speed.

Littlehales appeared at Blackburn Magistrates Court on Friday. He was remanded into custody and the case will be sent to Preston Crown Court.
