Littleborough Arts Festival now underway

Date published: 30 August 2011

The tenth annual Littleborough Arts Festival is now underway.

The festival, held at the Littleborough Coach House, began with a special preview evening on Friday (26 August) which was attended by local artists and dignitaries, including Simon Danczuk MP and Councillors Ashley Dearnley, Ann Stott and Stephanie Mills.

Over the years the annual event has raised thousands of pounds for Springhill Hospice.

The festival includes a variety of painting exhibitions and a series of workshops including knitting, patchwork and felt craft.

The festival runs until Sunday 4 September.
