Two taken to hospital following collision

Two people were taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning (22 August) following a road traffic collision on the M62 at junction 20.
The fire service was called to the scene at 2.28am.
The collision involved one vehicle. Two people self rescued from the vehicle prior to the arrival of the fire service.
The pair were treated by a fire service trauma technician before being taken to hospital.
Two fire crews from Heywood Fire Station attended.
