Crews tackle engine fire

Fire-fighters were called to Middleton, shortly before 8.00pm last night (18 August) following reports a fire.
Crews from Blackley and Chadderton attended J.P Travel on Joshua Lane, Mills Hill. On arrival they were faced with a fire in the engine compartment of a single decker bus, parked in a yard.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, 2 holes reels, and breaking in gear.
