Heywood man dies while working at Sonae chipboard plant

A man from Heywood has been killed in an incident at a chipboard factory on Merseyside.
James Dennis Kay, 62, suffered fatal injuries at the Sonae plant in Kirkby.
Police officers were called to the site on Moss Lane, Knowsley Industrial Park shortly before 11.00am on Saturday (6 August).
On arrival they found a man with serious injuries. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
Mr Kay, known as 'Dennis' to his family, friends and colleagues, was an employee of a sub-contractor working on a designated segregated area of the site.
A post mortem examination carried out has proved inconclusive as to a cause of death.
No-one else was injured in the incident and a joint investigation by Merseyside Police and the Health and Safety Executive remains on-going.
