Man rescued from Heywood house fire

A man has been taken to hospital following a fire at a house in Heywood.
Fire-fighters were called to Cobden Street just after 2.00am today (4 August).
On arrival they were faced with a fire in the lounge area of the property.
One man was rescued and taken to hospital. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
