DJs added to festival line up

Three more acclaimed DJs have been added to the line up for the Rochdale Feel Good Festival.

The XFM breakfast show team - presenter Tim Cocker and his producer/sidekick Jim Salveson - will join Funkademia DJ Mark Smith for Bop Local - the festival's official aftershow party on the first floor of The Flying Horse Hotel on Saturday 3 September.

Bop Local have hosted sell out club nights across South Manchester over the past year, but it will be their first visit to Rochdale.

Radio DJs Tim Cocker and Jim Salveson have presented the XFM breakfast show since April, and they packed out the dancefloor at Bop Local earlier this year in Chorlton. Mark Smith is best known for his appearances at Funkademia in Manchester – one of the longest running and popular club nights in the city.

Bop Local founder Tom O'Toole said ‘Bop Local’ is a club night for people who like to go out and socialise and dance to music, but don’t want the inconvenience and cost of going into Manchester city centre for their entertainment: “We’re excited about coming to Rochdale for the first time, and thought the Feel Good Festival would be a good excuse for a party. We really like to focus on the community, and there’s a lot happening in Rochdale right now, so hopefully this could become a regular night for Bop Local. Bringing the dancefloor to your doorstep pretty much sums up the evening.”
