Hair and beauty achievements celebrated

Hair and beauty students

School pupils who are part of a College Hair and Beauty Studies Group have celebrated their hard work at a special ceremony.

Hopwood Hall College hosted the evening to celebrate the success of the students.

The girls are part of the ‘14-16’ Higher Diploma in Hair and Beauty Studies group.

They are from Siddal Moor, St Cuthbert’s and Kingsway Park High Schools.

All have been enrolled on the course delivered by tutor Becki Lee at Hopwood Hall for two years.

Zoe O’Gormley won the 14-16 Best Progress Award for Image and Amber Nyugen won the 14-16 Best Achievement for Image.

A spokesperson for Hopwood Hall College, said: “The evening was a huge success; parents, friends and families came to see the learners join together to celebrate their achievements.

“The aim of the evening was to reflect on how far the group have come over the past two years and to acknowledge the fantastic work they have produced.”
