Fire involving food on cooker

Fire-fighters attended a fire involving a pan of food on a cooker in the kitchen of a Middleton flat on Monday (25 July) evening.

Two crews from Chadderton and Blackley were called to Avro Court, Aspinall Street, Middleton, at 05.40pm.

Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the flat.
