Students visit spa to learn about beauty industry

The Beauty Therapy students at the Spa

Beauty Therapy students from Hopwood Hall College have spent a day at the Norton Grange Hotel and Spa, learning techniques from practicing therapists.

The students were given a tour of the spa and leisure facilities, enabling them to gain an insight into the Industry and an understanding of the ambience created at a Spa.

They were also treated to the use of the swimming pool, steam rooms, saunas and a hydro pool.

Becki Bork, Level 3 Beauty Therapy Coordinator, said: “After speaking to the students, all felt they benefited from the experience and that the trip widened their understanding of the opportunities within the beauty field.”

She described the day as “a wonderful ending to a hard working year.”
