Cash boost for charities thanks to Rotarians
Date published: 25 July 2011
The Rotary Club of Rochdale has donated much needed funds to two charities after learning more about their work.
In total the club has donated £1,400 to The Christie at the Royal Oldham Hospital and a further £1,400 to the Migraine Action Association Charity.
Last year’s Rotary President John Cannell presented the final instalment of the funds to representatives from each charity recently.
Mr Cannell presented Terry Dean from The Christie with a cheque for £500 and Mary Ayres from Migraine Action with a cheque for £900.
