Trio charged after pensioner burgled

Three men have been charged with burglary.

Patrick Christopher Smith, 42, of Channing Street, Rochdale, Joseph Dean Loveridge, 24, of Pringle Street, Rochdale, and Patrick Joseph Dorn, 25, of no fixed abode will appear before Tameside Magistrates' Court on 24 August 2011.

At about 10.55am on 13 July 2011, police were called to Chester Street in Denton following reports of a burglary at the home of a 71-year-old woman.

Officers attended and three men were arrested nearby. A large amount of what is believed to be stolen cash was also recovered.

Inspector Claire Galt said: "I would like to thank the public for their support as without their assistance we would not have been able to make these arrests."
