Shooting - Heywood man charged

A 21-year-old man has been charged after a woman was shot in the neck with an air rifle at a petrol station forecourt in Bury.
Peter Colin Hanley, of Bury New Road in Heywood, is charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following the attack on 26 November.
The 31-year-old woman had to undergo surgery to remove the pellet following the shooting on Bolton Road, Bury.
Peter Hanley is due before Bury magistrates on 4 February.
