Severe delays on M62 Junction 22

Motorists are suffering from severe delays on the M62 eastbound at Junction 22 because of a serious accident involving a lorry and a van.
At the time of publication (5.00pm on Thursday 7 July) traffic was queuing for ten miles and the main carriageway was closed.
Traffic is being routed around the junction and back on again.
There is congestion to Birch Services.
