Crews attend cooker fire

Two fire crews from Rochdale were called to Ryefields sheltered housing on Braddocks Close, Hurstead, at 06.18pm on Sunday night (26 June) following reports of a fire.
On arrival crews were faced with a fire involving a pan of food on a cooker.
The occupier was suffering slight of smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by the fire service but declined hospital treatment.
